Win11 n' webcam redux
Win11 n' webcam redux
I gave the trophy too soon for my Win11 and webcam issue. Back then, I hadn't completed the upgrade to Win11. After finishing the upgrade, the webcam stopped working again. I should have avoided the upgrade. My Logitech C920 HD Pro Webcam has a driver that might be blocked by Win11. Please let me know if you can help.
Well, the other issue didn't reference a webcam. Was it functioning before your update caused problems? If the driver worked in Windows 10, it should still work in Windows 11, they haven't changed the driver model. It should function with Windows 11 - you can check the link here: https://www.elevenforum.com/t/webcam-c92...ware.5365/ and another here: https://www.lifewire.com/fix-webcam-not-...11-5192317
It was functioning before I began the Win11 upgrade. Then, at one stage, I managed to restore the webcam video, even though I hadn’t completed the upgrade yet. I proceeded and finished the installation using the provided link. However, the webcam still didn’t display video. The audio worked fine, but the video remained unavailable. I’m aware that the installation of Win11 was completed successfully. I adjusted the driver for the video, but I can’t recall the exact steps I took to resolve it before. I recently installed four updates of Win11, yet that didn’t solve the camera video issue.
You may need to perform a clean installation of Windows 11 to resolve the issue. The repair install addressed most problems, but the webcam remains an issue. Would you like to verify if it functions on another computer before proceeding with the reinstall?
I visited Logitech's website and reviewed information about their 'G HUB' driver package. I installed it and successfully conducted a ZOOM meeting this evening.
