She found this video on a popular conspiracy forum about ATS. In a 30-minute clip, Dr. Katherine Albrecht talks about Pete Santillo’s show on Windows 10 malware and its consequences. She explains how Google and Gmail are equally harmful and suggests ways to avoid using them. The ATS discussion thread is available at the provided link. Dr. Katherine has spoken frequently about RFID chips and their effects, noting that we’re increasingly tracked via devices like Fit Bit.
Soon many of those who prefer no online activity will join this discussion. Here’s the video ready, thanks for bringing it up.
It’s about managing things yourself and staying in control. Sharing only what you need works well here since the tool is clear about its purpose. Open source helps because you understand who it helps and can tailor it to your users. A key reason people love Linux.
oh boohoo where not going to switch to Linux edit FFS "they tried to get as far away from 8 as they did so they went to 10" NO THEY WENT TO 8.1 Edit: boohoo your security was compromised once you got onto the internet. Edit @17:30 Like what? Google, a couple hundred thousand man/woman company would need to keep track of some 10 billion people (by the time they would even accomplish this)
I was thinking about the video’s title and text before watching. It seems to touch on similar conspiracy ideas as past ones—like 9/11 or Area 51 theories—but this time it’s focused on Windows 10.
This kind of approach has been around for a while. Microsoft has taken a much more direct stance. They’re actively listening through microphones, gathering data from local or networked hard drives—files you save or search terms—then sharing information with authorities without needing permission or a warrant. Regarding the foil hat reference, yes! I’ve covered my camera and microphone with black electrical tape to protect against surveillance. This topic could spark a lot of discussion, especially since smartphones can be very intrusive. That might be worth handling in another thread. Speaking of oversight... Also, W10 is being blocked on some torrent trackers; using it could result in bans.
Well, honestly, most people are really worried about being watched. My point is, as long as I’m not breaking any rules or laws, I’m all set. I own everything I make, and my PC isn’t anything to be concerned about.
