Win XP clone with SSD issues isn't starting properly.
I have a program installed on an old Windows XP HDD. It was downloaded directly, not from a physical disk, and the creator is no longer available for the company we purchased the license from. This software is really useful. My computer is slow and old, so I upgraded to an SSD (850 EVO) and used the cloning tool they provided. Now I’m stuck—SSD starts loading XP but doesn’t go further. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks, Orbis.
Try pressing F8 during startup to enter safe mode—it could indicate a software issue. If copying the installation from a HDD to an SSD didn’t work properly, a clean install might be needed.
