Win 11 Thunderbird lacks a profile directory display.
I have thundebird on my old Win 7 desktop and tried to copy the profile to a new Dell laptop, but I couldn't locate the correct syntax for Thunderbird's profile folder. I remember it should begin with User and then transition to the Folder Roaming where the Profile folder is expected, but I can't find it on my Win 11 laptop. I followed the usual steps, used Ctrl-R and typed "%appdata", but nothing appeared. Since I installed TB, it shouldn't have created that folder either. I checked the Help/troubleshooting section and found no matching syntax when I clicked the TB's hamburger menu.
Unless a new profile was set up during installation, the profile directory does not exist by default. The standard path remains consistent across Windows 7, 8, and 10 ("C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\"). The Appdata folder is typically hidden out of the box.
