I've heard about setting up a Win 11 drive for installation. I own a Win 11 installation USB I got after upgrading my PC last year. Do I really just need that?

You can rebuild the Windows installation USB drive using the latest Windows installation version.

You should be able to utilize that USB drive to download the newest version straight from MS.
