The usage of 9 GB RAM during the fresh Win 11 installation seems typical, while the 0.6 VRAM and 0.2 GB compared to Win 10’s settings might indicate performance differences. No known Microsoft patches address these specific RAM or VRAM issues directly.

You’re getting low on VRAM even when the game isn’t using much memory. The issue might not be a bug—there should be no updates to fix it. Could you clarify the exact situation so I understand better?

It depletes memory gradually without sudden crashes or warnings. The VRAM consumption varies based on usage conditions, and differences between Windows 10 and 11 are normal. No need to be concerned about RAM handling since the hardware supplier has addressed these issues.

1440p,4k gaming creates more problems on Windows 11 than on Windows 10. With 4060 MB of VRAM shared by other apps, compared to 300 MB on Windows 10, the situation is worse. On your i7 9700, only about 50% of RAM is used, but the GPU runs at full capacity in most games. You might notice more crashes if VRAM stays completely full on Windows 11.

That's why I installed a second version of Windows 10. I'm hoping Win 11 can run with lower RAM usage, especially since other programs are using a lot of memory even during games. It seems Win 11 isn't reducing its RAM consumption when a game is active.
