We received a win11 update issue. Updating Win 11 Pro x64 (KB5018418) on October 2022 didn't work. After clearing the system and using Windows 11InstallationAssistant it still failed. Tried downloading from the catalog but the update kept showing as 100% and then crashed. I also attempted to download and install manually from the catalog page. Online recovery tools didn’t help either. The command line showed a clear error about the update not being installed due to error code 2148468767.

I’ve checked the system details: it’s running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit with AVAST Premium antivirus, and the PC passed a deep virus scan. No viruses detected. The OS version is i7-12700, B660, 32GB RAM, RTX 3070 Ti, using NVMe Samsung 980 Pro.

I don’t want to reinstall the OS. A factory reset didn’t fix it—it restarted before the update and still failed when trying the same update again.

I've already worked with most of the chkdsk, DISM and SFX tasks and discussed them in the previous topic.

There’s no change reported. Same problem still occurring on 22h2 with Windows 11 Pro.
