I powered down my PC around 9 PM yesterday and it didn’t come back online. At 3:32 AM this morning, I received an email from Playfire stating I had just begun playing Dino D Day on my computer. Since my PC was off and I don’t own the game on Steam, I was confused when I opened the notification at 12 PM last night. It said a new app had been installed that could handle an already registered file type. I couldn’t access the details to learn what was happening while I was asleep. Even though I changed my Playfire password, I’m now concerned about possible identity theft.

You own an account on Playfire, but someone else has taken control of it, posting content under your name. Switching to a new password and using a secure one should fix the issue. If it doesn’t resolve, reach out to Playfire since they may have a security concern.
