Win 10 HDR issues tint problems, green/purple hue.
Honestly, I seriously thought about offering a reward for this, since I haven’t found a solution in more than a year or possibly longer.
Therefore, I’m hoping to be lucky here.

This issue began well over a year ago, and I haven’t managed to resolve it. At the time, I had just swapped my motherboard with another identical model (ASUS Maximus IX Hero) because it was failing. Everything appeared normal until I tried launching a game—Resident Evil 2 Remake.
To be clear, I’m using the game on a 4KTV 60" Samsung TU7000. As soon as I started the game, I went straight to Video Settings. I enabled HDR via Windows Settings before launching, and then attempted to configure it in-game. With HDR active, the visuals became completely washed out, with terrible "black" areas—purple and green shadows everywhere, and the tint was consistently off.
I understand that some games might be affected by HDR during release, but this is different. I remember being able to play in HDR perfectly with this title before the problem arose. I suspected the game could be the culprit, but I also tried God of War and Days Gone, which behaved similarly...
I’ve attached a screenshot from Days Gone to illustrate the issue.
I’ve been playing games for over a year now with HDR turned off, because I can’t seem to fix this problem. I’m fairly sure there’s a setting in Windows or an issue with my GPU, since using a PS5 on the same TV works perfectly for HDR. So I’ve ruled out my TV as the cause?

I truly hope I can resolve this, as I’ve been stuck here for over a year. Thank you for any assistance that might help.
Information about the PSU make and model, motherboard type and BIOS version, as well as the OS version being used, has been provided. There is also a mention of an upgrade file for the panel, possibly a firmware update.
Yes, everything is completed. My PSU (brand new, so I’m confident this isn’t the issue) is a Corsair RM850 and I’m not sure which Windows version I’m using, but I’m sure it’s the latest update. My TV is also up to date as well. I clearly mentioned in my post that the motherboard uses an ASUS Maximus IX Hero LGA1151 chipset.
Are the display settings optimized for HDR? Numerous users rely on a distinct color profile separate from SDR, which may require manual tweaking for HDR compatibility.
