I'm just starting out with overclocking and want to boost my 8350. I'm curious if my motherboard and power supply can support it. What clock speed should I aim for? Here are my details:
CPU: AMD FX-8350
GPU: MSI Radeon R9 390
CPU cooler: Hyper 212 EVO
Motherboard: ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0
Power supply: Rosewell 750W 80+ Bronze

Using a 4+1 power phase design won't yield excellent overclocking outcomes with that board and an 8-core processor.

depending on the PSU model, it should function properly. the power supply shouldn't exceed around 650 watts in any case.
