Installing a fresh copy of Windows 7 64-bit on a PC and checking if Microsoft supports registration via their automated process for 2025. Has anyone managed this successfully this year? Smile

Internet activation servers disappeared in 2017, but the phone system remains functional. It hasn’t been mentioned that they were removed.

It seems the main concern is security. I don’t recognize the YouTuber, but they showed how quickly a virus or malware could infect a system during an XP installation—it happened almost immediately.

In the worst scenario, simply employ MAS scripts to trigger it—it's available on GitHub. Keep in mind it's very straightforward for automatically infecting Windows 7 devices connected to the internet.

The phone activation must function properly. I've noticed some individuals continue using it to enable older systems like Windows XP or outdated Office versions.
