Thinking about trying one of those Civ games, even though I haven’t played any before, seems like a good idea. They’re around £5 and look really appealing. What do you think?

The Civ 5 plus Brave New World expansion is amazing. I haven’t tried Beyond Earth yet, but according to what I’ve heard, it’s essentially just a rebranded version.

For Civ V, purchasing the full edition is worthwhile as it adds value beyond the base price.

I just realized I can get the full version for under £9. That sounds great!

CIV V offers a refined and well-balanced experience, especially when you include the DLCs, which significantly enhance gameplay and are essential for serious multiplayer sessions. The community around CIV 5 is strong, with dedicated and reliable players. CIV BE shows promise but may need the DLCs for major improvements. I own both titles and have accumulated roughly 500 hours in CIV 5 and 40 in CIV BE.
