Will using aio water cooling affect the temperature of vrm?
Will using aio water cooling affect the temperature of vrm?
Thanks to everyone, it really made a difference. I’m not going to push Ryzen too hard—staying under 3.7ghz. Perhaps I won’t even overclock it if I can enjoy bf1 multiplayer at 60fps on my ultra GPU (RX570). I was thinking about purchasing a Corsair 3 fan pack with the controller, and maybe getting another one later.
Here’s the link: https://www.corsair.com/ww/en/LED-Color/...9050067-WW
I believe four fans would be fine if I go with Be Quiet Pure Rock.
Oh and 1 more question. Can i remove the fan that is coming with be quiet pure rock and replace it with rgb fan from corsair? For example the one i linked above? If i cant do it, can you suggest me a rgb fan that can replace that one?
Yes you can, it's unclear why you'd prefer this.
This model includes 2 exhaust fans, and the 3-pack of 120s will handle the front intake.
You don't need any additional fans beyond these.
Consider using a H7 quad lumi or Deepcool Gamma X GT – both come with RGB fans?
I checked them now, and the price is higher for 20 euros than for Be Quiet. And can I control RGB on Corsair fans using RGB Fusion? I mean, can I sync my Corsair K70, my motherboard, and Corsair fans? At least I see that fans are controlled only by the controller and not by the motherboard. I don’t want different effects on the fans, and different settings for the motherboard and keyboard.

as the tile say, if i use cm ml240l water cooling will i have lower vrm temps?Im choosing between be quiet pure rock and ml240l, and i think better option is water cooler just bcs i plan to overclock my r5 1600, mobo is gigabyte x370 gaming 5. Case is nzxt s340. I know this is a noob question, but i want to know everything before i buy pc. Btw where i should mount ml240l in this case?
It works fine for me, and I have the H440 (notably bad airflow).
I believe I won't have issues since I won't overdo it, but on the other hand, I rely on people who advised me against water cooling. Also, there are reports that the Ryzen 3rd gen might reach 5ghz, so in that scenario I think it's more future-proof to choose an air cooler.
I don't have any issues with the Master Liquid Lite, it's a solid budget AIO. The problem lies with the S340—it only accepts a 240mm radial intake, and the case isn't well-suited for that (most of these cases are). The H440 handles a top-mounted exhaust fine, but the S340 doesn't. The only fit for an aio as a front intake would be fully open mesh front panel cases.
Do you still have the case? And what is the budget for the case itself?
