someone claiming to know what they're discussing doesn't understand. any frames beyond what the monitor can display will just be ignored. i own an 1650 super, and with the games I play, i can easily reach 144 hz, which the monitor supports. i was considering 75 hz too until i discovered a great deal and chose that instead. take a look closely—there have been many good sales recently, so you might end up getting more monitors than expected based on your budget. i found my AOC C24G1 for $145 on amazon! it was just on sale again last week, and it's still priced at that. though it's currently out of stock and won't be back soon. when i placed an order with the same delivery time, i received mine four days later, when more...

What you're referring to is a challenge?
This GPU supports HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.4, both capable of handling 1080p at 75Hz without issues.
For regular desktop tasks you'll see 75Hz, but during gaming—especially if the game demands more—you might experience lower or higher frame rates depending on the situation.

Since they mentioned a 75Hz display and playing League of Legends at full settings with 140 fps, it seems the monitor might fail under those conditions.

Whoever said that
tells them they're not very smart.
You can run at 300 fps on a 30hz screen. That's okay.

Someone claiming to know what they're discussing doesn't seem to understand. Any frames beyond what the monitor can display will just be ignored. I own a 1650 Super and with the games I play, I can easily reach 144 Hz, which the monitor supports.

I was considering 75 Hz too until I came across a significant discount and decided to go for that option instead. Take a look closely—there have been many good sales recently, and you might end up getting more monitors than expected based on your budget. I found my AOC C24G1 for $145 on Amazon! It was just on sale again last week, and it's still priced at that amount. Although it's currently out of stock and won't be back soon, when I ordered mine with the same delivery time mentioned, I received it four days later when more arrived in stock.

This monitor offers great value for the money. However, they tend to sell quickly, so if you have the funds, consider buying it right away.
