During my brief review of discussions, it seems the recommended power supply for safely overclocking this setup is still unclear. What opinions do others have about running the CPU at higher speeds on this configuration?

The price gap isn't huge. If upgrading your PSU is necessary, I believe a slightly higher model would be better. Would you like some suggestions for a solid mid-range option suitable for overclocking?

Of course. My goal is to find a PSU suitable for any future systems I develop. I won't be able to exceed my current budget for a while.

(Looking at it, power supply units don’t become obsolete as fast as other parts, so they usually last a while.)
