My setup includes a Ryzen 7 7700X, an Asus ROG Strix B60E-F Gaming WIFI, and a Seasonic Focus GX 750W PSU. I have an MSI GeForce RTX 4080 with a Ventus 3x OC. I'm wondering if the PSU I'm using will supply enough power to the graphics card when connected via a Seasonic PCLe 12VHPWR cable. Will that work?

It could be, but honestly, a 750w PSU might not meet the needs of the whole system with an RTX 4080. You’d really want at least an 850w unit. Still, you can try it with that Seasonic if you have an adapter. Just keep in mind, most adapters have been recently recalled, so check that you get one that hasn’t been recalled, like the ones from Cable Mod. The safest choice is probably to buy directly from Seasonic if possible. If you experience shutdown or restart problems, it’s likely the 750w unit can’t handle the sudden power spikes, which is why a higher wattage model is advised.

I checked the link you provided. If it doesn't work, I'll consider replacing the PSU.

Do you have any specific power supply models in mind that you'd like to consider?

Yes, it should work. It would until you put it under heavy load like a demanding game.
Perhaps I'm too careful about using or avoiding insufficient PSUs, but I wouldn't even attempt it. I'd get a higher capacity PSU with some room. Especially if the current unit is several years old.

Sure, I tried to keep it similar in length while changing the wording.

It might actually be a decent approach to revisit the purchase and confirm details beforehand. While there aren't many ATX 3.0 compliant options that perform well, there could be a few worth considering.

This Seasonic Focus GX 850W fully modular power supply with PCIe 5.0 and 80+ Gold certification is a solid choice.

It isn't a poor unit, though there might be more superior options out there.
