I recently purchased a computer a few weeks back and opted for a higher-end graphics card. However, I believe it might be consuming more power than the system can manage, causing random freezes every 3 to 4 days. Despite updating all drivers, I suspect this card could strain the hardware. I’m planning to visit a nearby Best Buy to check out alternatives. Two options caught my attention: one for a black power supply and another for a black power supply from Thermaltake. I’m hoping these will work better than the one I currently have.

The HP Envy has all its proprietary features. To swap the PSU, you must also replace the motherboard and case.

It seems this might have become common recently. My previous computer was also impressive, and I managed to upgrade it easily without any trouble.
