Hi, you're looking to boost your PC's memory capacity. You're considering two options: 2 sticks of 16GB each or 4 sticks of 8GB. Your current setup includes an Intel Core i5-8600K, AsRock Z370 Extreme4, and a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 Super Windforce OC 8GB. You're thinking about purchasing a G.Skill DDR4 Trident-Z and aren't sure which configuration will be better. What do you think would work best for your needs?

Do you prefer using high RAM speeds? Usually, running two sticks together works better if you upgrade them.

My motherboard indicates that speeds over 2666Mhz will be OC. The RAM sticks are 3600Mhz, so yes

Supports DDR4 4333+(OC) Sky is the limit? huh. But isnt intel known to like tighter timings rather than mhz after 3200mhz? Asking for a friend.

In terms of bandwidth, it's the same—what you're really getting from four sticks is just more capacity for what you plan to use. It puts more strain on the imc. If you're just gaming, go with the two-stick setup.
