Will there be a new Logitech Pro Series mouse in 2022?
Hello! I've been thinking about upgrading to the Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT, even though it's a costly mouse. On Logitech's Pro Series page there are three mice listed (excluding the League of Legends Edition one) that were released about two years after their last Pro Series model. I might have overlooked some Pro Series options, just following what was shown online. My main worry is not buying an expensive mouse just in case a newer version comes out soon. I'm just looking for opinions on whether a new release is likely this year or if the SUPERLIGHT should stay. If you think so, what's your reason? Thanks for any advice you can give—it would be great! And have a nice day!
if you really don’t want one just yet, consider waiting a few months to check if a newer Pro mouse comes out. Superlight is the newest model among the three, so it’s likely they’ll produce an updated version of the older ones. I haven’t checked whether the sensors remain consistent across all three, which could indicate a forthcoming release. If they’re identical, it’s hard to say for sure.
I used to own a Razer mouse and later switched to Steelseries, but I haven’t changed back. I don’t need a light mouse.
I own a RIval 600, but they now have lighter options available:

Do you require one? Do you already possess any of those? Usually, when I need a fresh mouse, I focus on what’s available right away. It wasn’t until my previous mouse reached eight years old that I realized it was time for a replacement, as it started causing issues with Windows. I used to purchase a new mouse annually until I found one that met my needs. Based on past experiences, there might be a release in August, especially since they’ve done so twice before. If the previous two were in August, it would have been straightforward. However, with releases also happening in December, it’s difficult to predict. I’m uncertain about the exact model, but a G Pro X Superlight wireless seems likely—unless they release an updated version of something else. It appears to be available now.

Thank you for the feedback! I don't actually need the 4 mice listed here. My current mouse functions well enough, but my fingers have worn down the rubber edges, leaving marks. Also, one of the side buttons occasionally gets stuck. I switched to the Razer DeathAdder V2 Pro, though after about 25-29 days (within the 30-day return window), I still didn't like its shape or comfort. I returned it because it felt awkward in my hand. The SUPERLIGHT turned out better since it was a good compromise between the original and the replacement—lighter, wireless, and ambidextrous. It also fits my preferences. Still, I'm cautious about its price, especially with the chance of a newer model coming soon.
