Hello,
I aim to clarify this as clearly as possible and provide sufficient details. I’m currently enhancing my existing PC by upgrading the motherboard, CPU, and RAM.
My current setup uses an EVGA Supernova 750 G3 80 Plus Gold with a ROG Strix B650E-F motherboard. The challenge I face is that my new motherboard requires either an 8-pin or an 8 + 4 pin connection, but the PSU only supplies two 4+4 pin CPU cables.
My question is whether I can use a complete 4+4 pin cable in the motherboard’s 8-pin slot, or if this would cause problems due to the pin arrangement. I’ll attach photos of both the motherboard pin slots and one of the PSU cables for reference.

The PSU should have included two cables. If that wasn't the case, using just the 8-pin socket would be acceptable.

It came with two CPU cables, yet both feature identical 4+4 layout with matching pin directions. I'm uncertain whether the additional house-shaped pins could damage the square socket connections.

I believe the setup will work well. Based on what I've seen, you can use ATX_12V_1 for most CPUs, or ATX_12V_2 if you have high-performance or overclocked models.

Thank you, I'm mainly concerned about the motherboard connector's shape sequence. The two 4+4 connectors have a different arrangement that could potentially damage the board. I plan to try connecting them later today.
