Thinkpads are much more affordable in the US, while they seem to cost more in Europe and Asia. I spent $1,100 and received more RAM and storage. The Inspiron is still a solid machine, but I’d consider getting one if it were more suitable for business needs.

From a professional perspective, ThinkPads offer excellent value. Their robust build, seamless upgrades, and reliable support make them stand out. I wouldn’t consider purchasing alternatives for business needs, especially given my focus on deals.

You also gain business-focused capabilities such as a broadband link to your laptop (functioning similarly to a phone), the optional Intel vPro setup, a swappable battery, and its well-known durable construction. Performance metrics aren't the sole consideration for all users.
