Hello everyone! I have an i7 2700K and I'm trying to check if I can safely push it to around 4.5GHz using Overclockit. Will I need to adjust my liquid fan speed for that? My setup includes: cooling system Corsair H110, graphics NVIDIA GTX 680, CPU i7-2700k, motherboard ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3, 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 RAM, power supply Corsair TX850, an SSD and a 1TB Western Digital HDD. The current stock speed is 3.5GHz. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Your cooling system should suffice. However, no one can guarantee your CPU will overclock to 4.5GHz. 4.1GHz is almost certain, while 4.5GHz depends on luck and expertise. Plan for values between 4.1 and 4.5.

Adding airflow to the socket and VRMs improves cooling, though liquid cooling removes this essential airflow from a vital spot.
