My setup includes a Ryzen 7 5800X3D with two 16GB GDDR4 3200MHz DDR4 modules, powered by a Seasonic focus PSU and a 850W series power supply. The system features a Gigabyte RTX 4080, a Gigabyte X570 Aorus motherboard, and dual M.2 NVMe SSDs—one 1TB Samsung 990 Pro and the other 1TB Samsung 980 Pro. RGB 140mm case fans are installed, along with a Deepcool LT720 liquid cooler for the CPU.

You've just cleared the power threshold by 32 Watts; keep going with confidence. The optimal choice would be a 1000 Watt unit, though your current capacity seems sufficient for 850 Watts.

In my view, an 850 watt quality PSU fits perfectly with a 40 series GPU and a Ryzen 7 5800X3D. For a 30-series Nvidia GPU, I would have suggested a higher capacity unit to handle extra spikes.

Question: Are you considering an existing setup or planning a build? If building, then AM5 might be better. Otherwise, this PSU seems ideal for your needs.
