I think it might cancel the warranty, but if you keep the CPU well-cooled and use a normal voltage, you should be okay.

For the majority of businesses, increasing performance beyond normal limits cancels the warranty. If you're concerned about harming your CPU and can't return it for repair, refrain from overclocking.

I think it might cancel the warranty, but as long as you keep proper cooling on the CPU and use a suitable voltage, you should be okay.

Jackson500 also asked about the risks of overclocking an OC board and whether it could harm the CPU. He mentioned that all unlocked Intel CPUs come with a limited warranty, which permits overclocking only within Intel's specifications. Additional details are provided in the linked documents.

Generally, increasing overclocking accelerates the wear of your CPU, though the effect remains limited if you adhere to Intel's suggested maximum voltage as indicated above. It should only be done to a small degree. For example, the i5 6600k should not exceed 1.52v.
