Will overclocking Kingston value ram void warranty?
Hey! I own two 2xKingston 4GB 2133 Value RAM sticks. I'm thinking about overclocking the 2133 to 2400 to get better performance, but I'm really worried about breaking the warranty. Will overclocking these value RAMs void it? TIA!
There is no way to tell if you overclocked it so go for it. However it is much more of a hassle to get it stable than the time it takes. Just don't tell Kingston when the sticks die.
Modifying any component beyond its rated or approved specifications voids the warranty. This applies to memory, CPUs, and GPUs alike. You're also exposing yourself to potential issues like memory errors and system crashes, which depend on both your memory quality and your motherboard.
