Yes, I understand that Arma 3 isn't highly optimized and only makes use of a limited portion of your GPU and CPU. If you increase the overclocking, could it make a difference?

Getting that single core performance up is really important. It definitely improved things for me when I moved from 2.8ghz to 4ghz. Unfortunately, I don't believe I'll ever consistently hit 40fps in that game.

It will assist, the more you can achieve with that single core performance, the better! It definitely improved my experience when I moved from 2.8ghz to 4ghz. Sadly, I don't believe I'll ever consistently reach 40fps in that game :/
