Will my Corsair vs550 cover the requirements?
Will my Corsair vs550 cover the requirements?
Hi guys,
I’m thinking about overclocking my i7 4770k using a good aftermarket air cooler and a z97 motherboard. I currently have a GTX 980, four hard drives, no SSDs (may add later), and 16GB of RAM. I’m wondering if my current 550 watts power supply will be enough or if I should upgrade it.
Thanks for your help.
superninja12, sorry for the rejection—it was totally by accident. Could you help me find a better option? Would the model with the 650 still fit? I want to avoid spending too much.

550w is acceptable; it's more about the quality than the amount.
I'm currently in the UK, so Newegg might not be the best option. Would an EVGA 600W 80+ be a suitable substitute?
