My friend is looking into whether his setup can handle games like Far Cry 5, Far Cry New Dawn, GTA V and Borderlands 3. He has a Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti, Ryzen 3 1300X, and 8GB DDR4 RAM. He wants to play these at medium settings with smooth 50-60 fps and no loading issues. Can you assist?

Not medium. Lower chances are higher.

Gta v isn't a brand new title, but I don't think it will support upcoming games or run smoothly at medium full HD with 50-60 FPS. The 1050 Ti card is weak and offers poor value; better to go with the 570 instead.

I frequently view many YouTube clips of GTA V at high frame rates, around 50-60 fps. When I set up similarly to him but used an I3 4170 instead of a Ryzen 3 1300x, the performance was just as good in those videos. However, I was always cautious about those clips.

Since GTA V isn't a high-demand AAA game...it came out seven years back.

Depends on many factors. It's very possible. Expect some stuttering with just 8GB of RAM though.
Post the videos.
