The processor can manage up to 2933MHz RAM, but increasing it to 3200Mhz might be possible depending on the situation.

OC'ing isn't assured to succeed. The Ryzen 5 3400G remains a Zen+ chip. DDR4-3200 isn't automatically supported (it may need adjustments using the Ryzen calculator), and some systems can reach up to 3466MHz or 3600MHz is uncommon.
My b-die 3600 XMP profile needed tweaking before it functioned at 3600 on my 3800x. However, all 3800x/x570 boards can operate at 3600 without issues. Just because a profile exists doesn't guarantee immediate success. Sometimes the memory controller requires minor voltage adjustments.
Just nice everything worked for the OP...

The RAM controller operates independently from the cores. All configurations function separately. Access your BIOS and turn on XMP for memory settings. This should align performance with your requirements.

the speed your ram is rated at is important, but just because the cpu supports it doesn't guarantee your ram can reach those rates. the xmp profile is likely the most effective option.

Which processor? If it's a Ryzen, it can accommodate RAM speeds of nearly any level.
What is the required MB and BIOS version? This can also restrict memory overclocking and speed.

You're planning to purchase an R5 3400G and a Psi B450 Tomahawk Max motherboard, but you're unsure about the BIOS version yet since you haven't bought it yet.

Yes, you can achieve 3200MHz for that RAM by simply turning on XMP. Increasing the CPU overclock does not influence the RAM's speed.

Ensure the kit you purchase matches the QVL memory list from the motherboard manufacturers. Also, consider X470 motherboards; the B450 Tomahawk Max offers similar pricing while providing superior performance.

It might be possible but seems unlikely here. Boosting RAM to 3200MT would be a minor overclock.
