Will an Alienware M14x R2 with an i5 processor be a capable gaming laptop???
My cousin is selling his M14x R2 and i am in the market for a new gaming laptop myself. He's willing to sell it to me for a very attractive price, and the laptop seems capable of heavy gaming to me. Its got a
Intel "Ivy Bridge" Core i5 processor and a
1gb dedicated GeForce GT650m graphics card and its in mint condition. I plan on playing new titles and upcoming titles such as Battlefield 4 and Dragon Age Inquisition on it, for long periods of time. Can this laptop handle it???

Regardless of price, the 650M is not much of a gaming card. Alienware was better before it became a dell line.
You’ve perfectly described the concept of supply and demand! And you're right – the eBay link demonstrates it beautifully.
The Alienware M14X-R2 is an older model, so its value is significantly lower due to limited demand and the availability of newer laptops with similar specifications. That’s why it’s likely selling for under $800.
Excellent observation!
