Hello everyone, I own an HP laptop (17-ca0xxx) that isn't very well known, yet its specifications are quite decent for everyday tasks. I'm wondering if anyone familiar with HP machines can share some insights about this model. Your time would be greatly appreciated. Also, just to clarify, I have the A9 9425 with an integrated R5 graphics card. It's not especially powerful, but I bought it for under $400. I plan to upgrade it with a WD Black SSD as well, which should improve performance.

Your HP 15-CAsomething is working well with 16GB of Kingston RAM at 2666MHz. Everything seems to be in order.

And that's also a dual channel update—I think. This is positive news, thank you for your reply. It wasn't difficult to determine if the amount of RAM would work; the main concern was whether the dual channel setup would function properly. There are several mixed responses on the HP forums, so they should aim to make their answers more consistent.
