WiFi标准从5到4的演变
WiFi标准从5到4的演变
Kind of an odd question. I have an HP notebook running Windows 10 Home running V1909. About three days ago, I checked the WiFi protocol of the device, the result being: WiFi 5. Earlier today, I checked again and ithe protocol is now WiFi 4. Why would this be and is there a way to fix it? Would it be because of a hardware malfunction of an issue involving the software. My sister had the same issue her laptop (being the same model as mine) and talked to HP. She was told to perform a factory reset and now has to send it in for repairs because files in the OS are broken. Not a huge problem for her, as her device is under warranty. Mine is not, so an initialization is not an option. Thank You, Brandon
It just found a stronger signal with WiFi 4. This doesn't indicate any issue. To improve it, you can adjust the settings in Device Manager for the WiFi NIC—set the preferred band to 5GHz if available—or turn off WiFi 4 on your router or access point.
