Internet issues alert: My WAVLINK Wi-Fi adapter has been unstable for over nine months. It keeps disconnecting randomly and sending spikes every 7 to 10 seconds, lasting about 30 seconds each time. I've tried changing the frequency bands (2.4GHz to 5GHz) but the problem persists. The issue began when I unplugged the adapter from the USB port and reconnected it, which caused internet problems that day. Previously, my connection was stable with good performance and quick responses. Now I’m limited in sharing with friends because of these interruptions. Please assist me.

Using a USB Wi-Fi device is causing the issue. Please discard it and install an internal one in a PCIe slot.

You're connecting via a USB Wi-Fi adapter and everything seems to be working.

Consider a PCIe Wi-Fi adapter or a higher-quality USB option. https://www.amazon.com/Netgear-Nighthawk...073JHHNJ9/

Cheap USB Wi-Fi devices often overheat and stop working. Consider the recommendation from @kirashi or fix the problem permanently using a PCIe Wi-Fi card.
