There are solid options available, such as the 2.5Gbit adapters which perform well even though they use Realtek technology. The 5Gbit adapters deliver around 3.6Gbit, but this is limited by the lack of USB 3.2 support, causing a bottleneck at USB 3.1 speeds. For reliability, a 2.5Gbit adapter should work smoothly at Gigabit and remains fairly affordable.
