Have anyone tried using these cables to reach the motherboard's Wi-Fi antenna in a new spot? My setup is near the corner of the house, essentially the furthest from the router. These would let me shift the antenna around the room and into a stronger signal zone. I’m open to spending on higher-quality options.

Make sure the plug type matches. There will be some loss in the cable or connector, but it’s hard to tell if it’s more or less than what you’d save by adjusting the position without testing.

I've tried them before, yet they didn't widen my coverage. It might be related to how the pipes, ducts, and wires are set up inside my walls. I used these for my Wi-Fi antennas, but my WHXM4 kept dropping at the same spot. I have an onboard NIC in a good MSI AM4 motherboard with a sharkfin antenna.

Looking forward, I’m trying to determine whether my board has RP-SMA or SMA connectors. The differences are quite noticeable! I’ll have to wait until I get home to place the order. Anyone know what the Gigabyte B650 AORUS Pro AX uses? Is it common across different motherboards?

Thanks, it makes things even clearer now. Some antennas display RP-SMA for PC connections, but not on my specific board. Including the Elite and Gaming AX models in the list might help confirm if it's suitable for me.

SMA and RP-SMA differ mainly in which side holds the center pin. Choose the version that fits your equipment.
