Wifi question
Wifi question
My mobile MSI Mag B550 Tomahawk Wi-Fi needs internet for Windows 11 installation. I found a way to install now, but I have to get WiFi. I need to update the driver, but I can't without internet. I went to a local store that didn't have it, so I had to go another 35 minutes away. Then I bought a USB stick, loaded it with the installation media at an internet cafe, and finally connected it at home. The USB stick asked me to install it again, but it said I need internet. It seems updating drivers that need a USB stick is quite challenging, especially when you need internet access.
Have you experimented with the USB 2.0 ports instead of the USB 3.2 ones? They require a different driver that might be available in Windows 11. If you have an extra internal optical drive or HDD, Windows will include those drivers automatically, but you would need to transfer the USB data onto a disc first.
yes but to reach the windows installer you need a wifi connection; without it, especially if your motherboard lacks it, you can't install windows 11. you must find a way around that by downloading drivers onto a usb drive and then finishing the installation.
