WiFi problems with your Asus RT-AX82U router? Let me know what you're experiencing!
I'm struggling to figure this out. In March I bought an Asus RT-AX82U on Amazon and have really liked it. Last night I went to bed, everything seemed okay. This morning my phones, FireTVs, and my wife's laptop were all having Wi-Fi problems—weak signal or no connection at all. The firmware is up to date (3.0.0.4.388_25035-g50f3243), I restarted the router and my ISP modem (Spectrum), but nothing changed. Ethernet connections are working fine on my PC and her PS5. I'm not sure what else to try. Any suggestions would help!
I investigated the problem and found it’s a hardware issue. It’s not uncommon, and ASUS support didn’t help much. It looks like time for a new router.
