Hey there, I see you're experiencing some speed limitations with your Wi-Fi despite having a strong internet connection. It's possible the signal quality from your antennas isn't optimal, or there could be interference affecting performance. Since you have a hardwired connection, you might expect higher speeds, but environmental factors like distance, obstacles, or router placement can still impact results. The 30-60 Mbps range mentioned seems reasonable for typical setups. Let me know if you'd like more tips!

What kind of router do you have? How many walls separate it from your computer? Is it operating on 2.4 GHz or 5.8 GHz? Would you experience faster performance with another device in the same location?

The router and modem are both located on your desk. It seems the issue might not be with those devices but possibly with your motherboard. You're wondering how to locate driver updates that could improve Wi-Fi performance.

Following a speed test could indicate a problem with your home router. I’m glad you found the assistance helpful. At your current spot the connection was fast—200 Mbps or more. That means your PC isn’t the issue, so you’re definitely not experiencing a local bottleneck. Thanks for reaching out!

Drivers usually have little impact; it mainly depends on having a strong signal and a solid WiFi chip in your computer.
