Hey everyone. Back when I was in the US, I noticed something interesting about my internet connection. After moving back, whenever my iPhone connected to the Wi-Fi, it displayed a strong signal but warned about weak security. On the router side, it showed "Weak Security" and even listed WPA/WPA2 (TKIP) as insecure. When I checked the details on my phone, it said WPA/WPA2 (TKIP) wasn’t secure at all.

I had a few other Wi-Fi connections in the building—one was shared, another was a neighbor’s network I used occasionally. The shared one rarely used because I preferred my own setup. But when I connected to that neighbor’s network, it didn’t show weak security on my phone either.

It seems like the issue might be related to the router’s settings or interference from nearby devices. Since I never changed anything on my own Wi-Fi, maybe an iOS update or a change in the router’s firmware caused this. It’s possible that the neighbor’s connection was affected by something outside my control, like power outages or physical disruptions.

I’m not sure why it always showed weak security for me, but it’s good to double-check your router settings and keep an eye on any changes.
