WiFi isn't connecting and the network card isn't listed in Device Manager.
Hello, PC Specifications: Graphics card = RTX 4080 Processor = 7800X3D Board = MSI MAG X670E TOMAHAWK WIFI RAM/Memory = G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB DDR5 6400-MHz CL-32 2x16GB Storage = Samsung 990 PRO 4TB Cooler = Deepcool AIO Extra Fans = 3x Deepcool 120mm Case = Lian Li 011 Dynamic Evo RGB Power Supply = 80 plus gold 1000W Operating System = Windows 11 For reference, I recently assembled a PC and installed Windows 11. My motherboard includes WiFi (MSI MAG X670E TOMAHAWK WIFI) and I connected the antenna. Overall it seems to function properly except for the WiFi connection. To clarify, Ethernet isn’t available since the router is in another room. My WiFi works on other devices as well. Initially I considered updating the WiFi driver, but when checking Device Manager there’s no network adapter listed. I’ve looked through hidden entries, performed a network reset, and still nothing. I’ve attached a screenshot of Device Manager. The Realtek chip is the driver for Ethernet. Should I install a Network Adapter? If yes, how would I proceed? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and understanding, Best regards, Me
I managed to set up the network driver on my own (I'm quite self-reliant). I simply uploaded the driver onto the computer using a USB drive and launched the executable from the driver folder. Everything seems fine. Warm regards to all who read this. Mwah mwah
