I have the PCI card I notice several links and at times the download speeds reach up to 450mbps. Generally, however, connections drop and games slow to around 7K MS. Would it be better to switch to this Amazon product?

It was connected to the leftmost port. I worried it might collide with the GPU or get too near, making it hard to seal the top of my enclosure. Which is the slowest PCIe slot for Wi-Fi?

I changed the slot positions, moving the farthest one to the nearest position near the CPU. It's not in contact but positioned close to the graphics card. This setup should provide additional cooling via the fan. I'll test it this evening to check for any performance changes.
