WiFi Help!
For a home of that size with several levels, one wireless router won’t automatically improve WiFi performance. Don’t forget the floor plan and how walls and obstacles affect the signal. Usually, multiple access points are needed—at least one per level. Some signals from the top AP can reach the lower floors, so two might suffice. If basements are included, you’ll need a separate one there. Many routers use omnidirectional antennas, which work best horizontally but not well vertically for large spaces. Relying on a single device isn’t practical. What internet connection do you use? What speeds are you billed for? Can you set up Ethernet? This helps connect the APs to the main router. Sharing a floor layout can help us suggest better placements.
