Hey, you're planning an outdoor laser shooting event and need Wi-Fi connectivity for your guns. You already have a 4G to Wi-Fi converter, but now you're looking for a way to extend Wi-Fi coverage over 260 meters on the ground. Anyone have suggestions or solutions? Thanks!

In reality, a mesh network is necessary for reliable, high-speed coverage across large distances. Prior testing is essential to ensure your setup remains effective despite potential issues.

I'm not sure if you're after a mesh network. Meshing adds latency, but if extra 10-300ms isn't too much, it's okay. Otherwise, you'd need to carefully set up each AP, which can become a big task. I suggest reaching out to the company that sells the equipment and ask about their recommended setup.

It seems like the planned investment could be a special occasion rather than a regular purchase.

The laser guns were taken from my brother's project, which is typical for 4G. However, the scouting happens in an area with very limited 4G coverage. I'm currently searching for outdoor access points for that mesh network. Appreciate your feedback!
