I own a Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3 motherboard, and since installing it my Wi-Fi card isn't connecting to any signal. I've searched online and adjusted settings, but nothing helps. This issue has lasted months and is really frustrating. I can get a signal with an Ethernet cable, but I can't link that to the router at my new home. I need some guidance on what's going on. I believe this is the Wi-Fi card you mentioned: the link provided.

It's still active, I use it for Bluetooth and it functions properly. I also attempted to install the driver from the website and downloaded the accompanying disk, but neither option worked.

I should also note that the Bluetooth downloads are working fine, but the Wi-Fi drivers are not progressing.

The only thing that comes to mind is it might be faulty—some units work perfectly while others don’t. If you purchased it recently and the return window is open, there’s no reason not to try it and consider alternatives from another brand. Power line adapters could also be a viable option for Ethernet connectivity. I recall a video from Jayztwocents about them a few years ago; you might find more information in similar videos.

I've used a USB Wi-Fi adapter from another brand and it also failed. The drivers couldn't be downloaded, and it didn't function independently.

I have a Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3 for my motherboard, and ever since I got it my wifi card hasn't been able to pick up a wifi signal. I've tried ever troubleshoot I could find online and playing around with settings myself, and yet nothing has worked. This has been a problem for months now and I'm so tired of it. I've been able to get a wifi signal to my computer with an ethernet cable, but I can't get that cable hooked up to the router at my new house. I use it for Bluetooth and it works fine. And I tried downloading the driver for it through the website and the disk it came with, both didn't work. I've tried a usb wifi adapter from another company and it didn't work either. Drivers wouldn't download for that either. I should also clarify the Bluetooth drivers download fine but the wifi drivers refuse to download. This is my wifi card: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0832MR4WB?pd_...af3a357630
