Guys, I know this is a really stupid question, but can I share a laptop's wifi connection to a pc without a wifi card by a lan cable?

In theory it might be challenging, but I’d rather avoid that approach altogether.

I don't know the exact model, but you can try downloading the driver from the manufacturer's official website or a trusted source. Make sure to use the correct version for your device.

occasionally some wifi cards work without a driver, windows may already include it. if it uses a realtek chip, windows might already have it. this situation has occurred many times before in this community.

Just let it go, this setup probably isn't happening, save your energy.

Most devices are actually built with Intel chips. ASUS products are essentially rebrands of common PCIe to M.2 adapters that come with an Intel card already installed. If you only need to install a driver, it's quite simple—just let someone use your WiFi connection temporarily for that.
