occasionally some wifi cards work without a driver, windows may already include it. if it uses a realtek chip, windows might already have it. this situation has occurred many times before in this community.

Most devices are actually built with Intel chips. ASUS products are essentially rebrands of common PCIe to M.2 adapters that come with an Intel card already installed. If you only need to install a driver, it's quite simple—just let someone use your WiFi connection temporarily for that.
