Hey everyone, I hope you're all well. I'm reaching out for some advice. Recently, while playing Xbox on a wired connection (directly linked to the router), I experienced sudden lag spikes lasting 10-20 seconds. This caused me to be instantly disconnected from the game I was in, which is really annoying. I have a solid connection, as shown by my speed test results. Do you have any suggestions or can you help me figure out what's going on? I'm not too familiar with networking, so any guidance would be super appreciated. My Discord is: Ban#6550

WiFi boosters often don’t perform well, and problems like these happen frequently. A factory reset might offer some temporary relief, but it’s probably not very effective.

It doesn't seem typical for an extender to affect devices not linked through it. The problem likely isn't with them.

What type of broadband connection is this? A lag for so long usually means the connection itself has stopped working and is reconnecting, easily confirmed by checking if other devices on the network can get online during this spike.

He appears connected via Ethernet through the extender, which likely explains the context being discussed.
