Hello everyone, I have a 900Mbps connection at home and recently installed a WiFi 7 router (I'm in the UK). Naturally, I only got the WiFi 7 card available online that works with AMD. Everything seems fine so far, but I’m experiencing some issues. When I download GTA using it as a performance test, I get around 850Mbps on a 6GHz connection. My PC crashes during the download when moving an external external device for optimal positioning. What’s happening and why?

Review the Windows Device Manager for any flags next to hardware entries. If problems are found, they should be marked in yellow. While inspecting, verify the current driver version and update it if necessary. Record any error logs in Windows so the system can identify the crash cause. Use the Event Viewer to view errors and crash details. If you're unsure about the error, perform a web search for more information.

It's odd, hasn't there been any logged errors recently? The last activity was about five hours ago, but the issue occurred just before I wrote this. The newest driver is installed now. I'm puzzled as to why this happened—especially since it doesn't seem to occur when I move it without downloading anything. It's a mystery to me.

I reviewed the Windows Event Viewer, but found no entries linked to this issue—previous warnings were present before the WiFi card was added.

I misunderstood everything. I tried to recreate the issue, and as I worked with the magnet on the cable, it got stuck under the metal desk. That must have triggered the crash. I’m not sure why this happened, but my guess is the magnet caused a surge in the cables, leading to the PC overheating and shutting down.

You’ve removed and readded drivers again. I’ll check if that improves things; otherwise I’ll try this alternative. Thanks for the assistance!
