I'm hoping for a device with a user-friendly interface, especially for connecting to the ISP gateway and managing other network devices. I need easy access to log in temporarily and control user permissions. Setting up DNS should be straightforward; Cloudflare works well. I suspect VPN configuration would be straightforward overall. Are there options that let you assign specific devices VPN access or create unique DNS settings for certain equipment? These questions might steer you toward a dedicated solution like pfSense or similar tools. While these features are useful, they aren't essential for my current setup.
