The real limit is the 1Gbps Ethernet port, not the theoretical 4.8Gbps. In practice, your actual speed will be capped at 1Gbps. If you manage to get Wi-Fi over 1Gbps, the main advantage is moving data between nearby devices faster than 1Gbps. To get truly faster internet via Wi-Fi, you’ll need a router or modem with higher Ethernet speeds.
